Who was your favorite teacher?:  Larry Isitt
What is your favorite high school memory?:  My fabulous friends!
What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
Although it's not been without a few bumps in the road, I'm living an extremely happy and blessed life. I have two boys (12 and 16) that I'm absolutely wild about, a career that I love, and a guy I adore. What more could a girl want? I missed seeing everyone at the reunion, but have loved reading about each of you, looking at your pictures, etc. You're all so beautiful ... and look so happy. I will not miss the 30-year!
What do you miss most about high school?:
I miss the relationships. All of them.
From Stacy:
Sorry I missed you all.  I skipped the Thursday function because of an annual 20-mile 4th of July hike that my guy and I do.  Had to skip the rest because I was SO sore.  Note to self: Do NOT plan any hikes during the week of your 30-year reunion!

That was a lot of fun.I became pregnant with my first son in the fall of 1988 and he was born in june of 1989. I met my first Husband and we had two more children together and lived happly for five years until he passed away in 1994. I rasied my children by myself for the next five years untill Lanny Lemburg and I married. I graduated from NIC in 2007 with an AS degree in criminal justice and am currently working in a nursing home and loving it. Who new that working with the elderly could be so rewarding. I do plan on returning to school to get my BS in justice studies. My oldest Son Joshua(19) is married with a child on the way so I will be a grandma before I am 40. Joshua is currently serving in the Army and doing very well. George(18) is my secound son who graduated high school this year and is currently working as a roofer. My Daughter Lanaia(16) will be a JR. this fall at Post Falls High school. She is looking forward to summer fun and going to concerts. Lanny and I will be at the reunion and look forward to seeing all our old friends.

school was great, just hanging out with friends and having no worries that is what I miss the most.

What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
I went to BYU-Idaho after high school, but being 17 and all that new found freedom, I only made it 4 months. I met my ex hubby here and we moved back to his home, Colorado, in 89. We had two wonderful girls who are now 16 and 11, and built a pretty good life for awhile. I always say I have the best ex-hubby! I moved back here in Nov. 03 to give my kids a better environment. I have since married my Senior Prom date. I should have left him at the Senior Prom. I work at NightHawk Radiology Services for the past couple of years, and it is the best job! I am a soccermom. Go Post Falls Thunder! I can't wait to see my friends again and all the people I considered friends in high school.
What do you miss most about high school?:
Having fun, the pits, and 20 minute lunches LOL! Oh yeah and Pepper Belle's!

What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
After graduating from WSU, I was in CA for graduate school for several years. I then had a short stint in South Carolina; however, I ended up back in the Seattle area in 1995 after a divorce. I met my partner (Seth) late in 1995, and we have been together for approx. 13 years. We have 2 kids (a daughter that is 11 and a son that is 8) who keep us busy. In 1999 I opened my own research consulting firm. My time is spent managing my company, running around the kids, and managing the construction of our vacation home in Mexico (we are now going on 3 years; however, I have faith it will be done this year). I truly enjoy when the kids have breaks from school as we travel out of the country during that timeframe as we try to expose the kids to different countries and their cultures. I won't make it to the reunion, as I will need to be in CDA a few weeks later for a baby shower. I wish everyone the best!

What is your favorite high school memory?:  1) Football, especially State games of 85-86-87; 2) Track team/trips; 3) Great friends (RIP Al) and the many house parties (RIP Grandpa Smitty), keggers, and infamous Jackson Hole spring break trip that contributed greatly to my juvenile delinquency.
What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
To save you all some time I'm just going to put a few biographical points together that mostly tell my story (sorry in advance if this is a lame way to share this information!): Education: BA Communication, Boise State, 1988-1992. MEd Secondary Education, Idaho, 1997. MS Physical Education, Eastern Washington, to be completed 2008. Career: Teacher/coach, East Jr High, 1992-93; Coeur d' Alene High, 1993-2002. Coach, North Idaho College, 1996-2002; University of Washington, 2003-05; US Olympic Training Center, 2006-present. Camp director, Iron Wood Thrower Development Camp, various locations, 1989-present. Appointments: Lead Instructor, USA Track & Field coaching education program, 1997-present. Discus chairman, USA Track & Field Men's Development Committee. As for the future I'm hoping to remain in my current position with the US Olympic Committee following a couple successful trips to Eugene, Oregon and Beijing, China this summer (meaning that I would continue my work with several top US athletes for another four years as they prepare for the 2012 Olympics in London). Living in San Diego has been awesome (with the main exception of missing valuable family/friend/lake time back in CdA) and competing at the professional, world-class level is a tremendous challenge that continually motivates everyone I encounter on a daily basis (as a recent motto of the USOC states: to be an Olympian, "It's not every four years, it's everyday that counts"). When this path finally comes to an end (and it most certainly will) I plan to continue my coaching career at either the international or collegiate level or resume my teaching career at either the high school or junior college level. Either way I will be helping others which is the most important thing of all. Beyond that I'm afraid to say that I haven't made too many plans. But I still have many other goals and dreams to pursue that's for sure!!
What do you miss most about high school?:
Not much. I've been very fortunate to have had a lot of fun throughout the years at the various ages. That's not to say that I don't tend to wax nostalgic about the 'glory days' over many beverages when I get the chance to visit with high school and college friends... In fact, Lisa Cloyd will probably be happy to tell you about a pretty good Mariner's game that we 'missed' as I was chattering on for several hours at Safeco one night a few years back (sorry about that one, Lis - you're the best)!
From Bryan (Bud):
Congrats to all that are organizing this great event.  You deserve much respect for putting this together.  Unfortunately I will not be able to attend due to a work conflict (US Track & Field Olympic Trials, June 25 - July 6).  Best wishes on a tremendous success!

Please drop me a line if you'd like and be sure to contact me if you should find yourself in the San Diego area in the future.  It's always great to catch up with old friends.

Who was your favorite teacher?:  Siggy was the man!
What is your favorite high school memory?:  Soccer, soccer, soccer!
What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
Let me blow the dust off and think. I left for Whiworth College after graduation on a soccer scholarship. Spent 3 1/2 years in the secondary education program, then found out I didn't really like the thought of being a teacher. So, much to my parents dismay, I dropped out. I did however meet my wife Cammie there. So, I guess the $28,000 I gave Whitworth at least got me something. Cammie is Austrailian and her biggest fault is that she lost her accent. (No worries mate, I forgave her) We got married in '93 then moved to Portland OR. I went back to school for a civil engineering degree. Hooked up with a residential home builder as a superintendent to pay the bills. Found I really enjoyed the construction field, so the civil engineering degree was put on hold. I worked for 6 different homebuilders over the years, each time climbing up the ladder a little. Cammie and I waited 10 years to have kids, but the wait was worth it. My son is 5 and my daughter is 2, going on 26 with possible jail time in the future. Two great kids that get their looks from their mother. I now own two home building companies, one with a partner and one by myself. Needless to say, the civil engineering degree is still "on hold". I now live in Camas Washington, and am enjoying the awsome housing market we have right now.
What do you miss most about high school?:
The care-free 'don't have to worry about putting food on the table' days. Being able to play soccer and not have to ice both knees for three days! All my old soccer buddies. Gas prices!!!!!
From Chad:

I won't be able to make it to the reunion.  Cammie's family is having a reunion in Sandy Oregon the same weekend, with lot's of Aussies coming.  However, I make it "back home" a few times a year.  I spoke with Donnie the other day and would love to have a mini reunion one of those times.
Cheryl, great job with all this.  I always knew you had potential. :)
