State/Prov.: ID Occupation: dental assistant, small business owner Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 Who was your favorite teacher?: Mrs. Bieber What is your favorite high school memory?: Big hair, 80's rock What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: I have been in dentistry since 1989 and worked at various offices,I met my husband Ken we have a daughter,Gretchen who is now 12 and attending Canfield Middle School. Also, Ken and I started a concrete business which has kept us busy for 12 years. What do you miss most about high school?: To be quite honest I don't miss much about high school. The early mornings from double shifting were difficult, yet it was nice to be done early. Our class was so large I mostly felt lost in the shuffle, but there are a lot of classmates I see around town or have thought of often over the years. |

State/Prov.: VA Occupation: Attorney Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Who was your favorite teacher?: Mr. Isitt What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: I've been living in and around DC since 1988 but still answer the question, "where are you from?" with "Coeur d'Alene, ID." After undergrad, worked on Capitol Hill for several years, then law school, then private practice, and now in government. In other words, I'm in obvious and desperate need of Hatter's life coaching services. A lovely wife and two little ones are the best part of each day. We're still devising an exit strategy that moves us at least two times zones to the left. |

State/Prov.: MO Occupation: Army Contractor Marital Status: Married Who was your favorite teacher?: Mr Isitt, Mr Partington What is your favorite high school memory?: Graduating What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: Made it through college--University of Portland, BS Elec Eng, 1994--after taking a year off for Army training--they didn't get all of my brain...Ended up getting a commission through ROTC at UofP, went full time Army, got stationed in Europe, met my husband while deployed to Bosnia, came back to the states (we got married ten years ago, that's why I missed the 10-year, think I was in Jamaica or something instead), left the full time Army, went back into the Reserves, and got a sort of normal job. Been following Randy around since then, lived in El Paso, Leavenworth (the short tour), Colorado Springs, and now Kansas City--I work at Ft Leavenworth as a contractor, still in the Reserves. He's now deployed to Iraq, his year is up in November and I'm due 1 August, our first, I can't do anything the easy way, plus I had to think of a way to miss the 20-yr reunion too. So I'm a late bloomer, will be that creepy almost senior citizen hanging around the high-school with my kid, not grandkid. Hee hee! Just keeps you young, right? What do you miss most about high school?: Drinking coffee at Dockside and Crickets...going to the lake...I even liked that debate and speech stuff, I'm still not much of a talker, unless I have something to say (or I've had some beers...) |

City: Cda
State/Prov.: Idaho Occupation: yardmaster--bnsf railroad Marital Status: Married Who was your favorite teacher?: We had alot of great teachers at chs but Mrs. Macy was terrific ! What is your favorite high school memory?: crusing, house partys, good music and bad hair What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: In 1991 I started working for bnsf railroad. I briefly moved to Seattle in 1993. In 1994 I became a yardmaster,(directing train traffic from the tower). I moved back to Coeur d' Alene in 1995. In 2000 I married Heather Thayer. Heather is wonderful, she is a teacher at the Charter Academy with bill proser. If someone would have told me in highschool that I would marry a teacher, I would have told them to stop drinking. I know they say marriage is hard work, but with Heather it has been easy. We were truly meant to be together. In 2003 Heather and I built a house on the lake at Kidd Island. We spend our summer days in the boat or on the dock feeding what heather affectionately refers to as the "duck mafia". A band of fearless ducks with a craving for Suger Puffs. I love Cda and dont intend to leave the area or my job. Although I do get irritated at how crowded our little city has become. What do you miss most about high school?: Driving around with friends, early breakfasts with Pat Taylor when we had to get up before 0600 for the early split shift. Then ALWAYS being late for fist period with Mr. Sigworth. Getting the car stuck in the snow as the bus passes us with laughing faces. Then getting unstuck and arriving at school ahead of the bus. It was alot of fun. |

City: Rohnert Park
State/Prov.: CA Occupation: Software Engineer Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: Its been so long, I can't even remember what all I've done, but here goes.. moved to Florida right after grad for 2 years. Moved back to Cd'A and partied a bit too hard. Moved to California in 1991 and partied even more. Finally settled down and went back to college and got my degree. Working in the telecommunications business writing software I met my husband (the only other non-geek in the place..). Got married at my parents' house in Cd'A. Had my son Lucas in 2006 and am expecting a baby girl this August. Whew, I did it. Anyway, we love California. It is expensive but the diversity here is great. I come up to Cd'A every year to chill out with my folks on the lake. I'm really bummed I'm going to miss this reunion. I always hear that 20 years is so much fun. I think 8 months prego is a bit much for me to come up and crash a party though. Hope we have another one. I have not been good at keeping in touch with peeps and I feel bad about that but I do think about classmates and wonder what they are up to. Its been fun reading about what everyone is doing now (no names mentioned!) Would to love to hear from my old friends! What do you miss most about high school?: Oh man, the freedom. It isn't the high school I miss its the staying up late and sleeping in and not having to change any diapers! |
