What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
Many of the students that come & go through my locker room over the past 10 years remind me of each and every one of you- it's a trip! I was fortunate to earn three degrees and a teaching credential through my participation of baseball. I pitched for 3 college baseball championship teams. Made some Pearl Jam travels throughout the 90's. Traveled and stayed in Europe with my best friend Large Mug. I crashed a wedding in '94 where I met my future wife, now 11 years in the making. I have three awesome kids, one of them a girl, any suggestions here? Baseball has dominated most of my time after my playing career was over- 14 years of coaching and owning/operating baseball camps throughout Sonoma & Marin Counties in No Cal, then back to So Cal in Ventura and currently here in the So Bay (of Los Angeles). I coach at Redondo Union H.S. and teach middle school PE in Redondo Beach (about a 10 minute jog from my office to The Strand (beach)).
What do you miss most about high school?:
Knowing what I know now, right? I miss competing, probably should have considered talking my parents and Casey Boyer into staying in No Idaho to play & win with the guys in our class- some of the best athletes through my experiences. (Candy Sims could have threatened me more to stay). No regrets though, I've been blessed. My best teachers in life were my early coaches- Moffat, Bloxom, Bridges, Headley, Staggs (dude was crazy) and Page. The support of an entire community to back it's sports programs is what I miss too- loved to play in front of a good crowd in a tight game!
From Bradey:
I appreciated being remembered as a fellow Viking though I had to move after our sophomore year. I am the person I am today because of the great "growing up years" that I had when I lived up there from 4th-10th grades. I graduated in 1988 from Buena High in Ventura- never an easy task for any teen kid to do (pack up and move to another world), fortunately I found a new home in basketball & baseball. I always thought the smartest, best looking and most athletic kids came from Borah & Canfield! I'm hosting a camp on July 4th week- I'll see if I can get up there somehow. I want to get an email from you!

I work as a fireman for Northern Lakes Fire District (Hayden, Rathdrum and everything in between). I have three wonderful kids and a ex-wife that I actually still adore.
