State/Prov.: Washington Occupation: RN Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Who was your favorite teacher?: Roxanne Evans What is your favorite high school memory?: Being a part of such a great class of students What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: A lot of a lot of things. Read the comments below. What do you miss most about high school?: Hanging out with friends, skiing with Derek Palm, Dave Walterman and Drake Callahan. From Bill: After high school I worked at Schweitzer and Albertson's for one year before I went to college. After I figured out that working in a grocery store isn't what I wanted to do I decided to go to nursing school to pursue my RN degree. I graduated from Lewis Clark State College in 1994 with my RN and married my wife Sandy at that time as well (she is also an RN). I currently work in Spokane at Cancer Care Northwest. I have a wonderful wife named Sandy whom I met while attending college and two wonderful daughters. My 13 year old is Sarah and my 10 year old is Rachel. They both are very intelligent and athletic and attend school in the Mead School District. We are very busy with our daughter's athletics with Sarah in Volleyball and Rachel who plays AAU basketball year round and travels with her traveling team in the spring and summer months. We love to travel and get together with friends to relax and have fun. This spring we went to Mexico on a 7 day cruise after spending several days at Disneyland. What a fun trip but exhausting as well. Oops, I forgot to mention that we lived in Medford, OR. for 3 years after I was recruited to work in Southern Oregon at Rogue Valley Medical Center and a Cardiovascular group. We missed the CD'A/Spokane area alot, therefore, we moved back! Hope to see all of you on 7/5/08. |

City: Renton
State/Prov.: WA Occupation: Software Sales Website: www.microsoft.com Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 Who was your favorite teacher?: We had teachers? I remember sleeping... What is your favorite high school memory?: Hanging out with friends at one of the many What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: Headed over to Ellensburg and spent a few years there going to school, working at Frazzini's and getting into some serious trouble. :) In 1991, headed down to Tucson and started working for a local pizza place right off the University of Arizona campus. There, I met some amazing people, including my wife Stephanie. Stephanie graduated in December '93, and we moved to Dallas with her job at Neiman Marcus. I found nominal work in the restaurant biz, but stumbled upon the tech industry because I could type fast - go figure that would come in handy. Eventually that led to programming, where I skipped around between Nortel, Citigroup, and a couple of small firms. Stephanie had gotten a job at the Microsoft support facility in the Dallas metro area, and since we wanted a great environment to raise kids, along with family nearby, she got a job at corporate in Seattle. Her recruiter asked what I did, and somehow I landed a job at Microsoft as well. Have been here, in multiple roles, ever since and to this day find great challenges and still have fun. Somewhere in all that we're finishing remodeling (I'm doing a lot of the work), focus on parenting and finding the moments of joy with our three kids (Kenadi-9-F, Madison-6-F, Andrew-2-M), pet sitting out of the home, and somehow still find time for our couple. What do you miss most about high school?: Honestly, the sheer joy it is be in the moment - that moment - without the concerns and exposure to what ignorance hid from us as kids, hanging out with our friends... |

City: Vancouver
State/Prov.: Wa Occupation: Legal Assistant Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 3 What is your favorite high school memory?: Cruising sherman, What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?: a little bit of everything it seems. What do you miss most about high school?: Nothing and all of it....... From Theresa: Hmm, where to begin. I left CDA High after my jr year, got married and moved to N. Carolina for 5 months before heading to S. Cali. Got my GED. Had 2 girls over the course of a few years, moved back to Idaho and divorced 1st husband after 5 years of a very abusive marriage. Had another baby girl 4 years later from a LTR. Followed the LTR to Vancouver in 1995 and that didn't last either. Decided I liked it here, met hubby #2 and after 5 years of living together, got married. Started a process service business which was very successful, husband ran that while I worked full time for an attorney. After 6 years of marriage, I realized that marriage was not saveable, we just finalized a nasty divorce this last March. I gave the ex the business/house/etc and started out fresh again. Apparently marriage isnt in the cards for me so at the ripe old age of 38, I have decided to remain single. I have rediscovered myself and like who I am and the direction I am taking. I still work for the same attorney, its been well over 8 years now. As for my girls, my oldest daughter Cierra is now 20 and waiting to begin her junior year at WSU Pullman, she is a communications/hospitality major hoping to work events coordination for a non profit group. I just this June graduated my middle daughter Leslie from high school, she decided she wants to stay home and go to community college which makes me happy, she plans to do something along the line of working with deaf children as she loves ASL and kids. My baby girl Caity finished up 8th grade and is officially on to high school, she is a jock in every sense of the word and excels at most sports, I have spent a good portion of the last 6 years escorting her to many sporting events including softball state playoffs 3 times. Very proud momma here!!! I myself started back to school this last year, taking classes when I can fit them in and am working towards being a paramedic, gets me out of the office and helping peeps. In what little off time I get, I play softball, love to hit the gym, take road trips and hang out with the girls doing what they love. I get back to Idaho as often as allowed with our busy schedules. I actually cannot make the reunion now, I will already be in CDA the previous weekend for a family wedding and with the cost of gas and time off work, I just can't do 2 weekends in a row. I do appreciate you all still including me as part of the class of 1988....looking back, I truly wish I had completed my senior year in Idaho and made those memories but I cant change the past, it has made me the person I am today. I hope you all enjoy the reunion! The Then and Now picts are just a couple of the girls and I recently taken....I can't locate any "then" picts... |
