What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
The summer after graduation I worked as a maid at the CDA Resort...I don't recommend that to anyone. It was good motivation to get started on college. I attended NIC and received an art degree. I then headed to UI and met my incredible husband, Erik. We were married in 1994. I student taught in Seattle and nannied for 6 months prior to graduating from UI with a degree in elementary education. We moved to Seattle in 1997 when my husband was offered a full time position at Microsoft. We had our first daughter in 1997, our second in 2000, and the grand finale came in 2004...3 girls! We now also have a very large "Man Dog" to help balance out the estrogen in the house. We live in Sammamish which is east of Seattle and reminds me alot of how CDA use to be. I am a full time mom and enjoy my ladies.I teach art in each of their classrooms and am involved in the PTSA and yes..I do drive a mini van. My hubby is still at Microsoft. We love living in the Puget Sound area. Such a great place to raise a family. Life is good!
What do you miss most about high school?:
I can't say I miss much about high school...although I do miss seeing my friends on a regular basis and of course sleeping in on the weekends.

What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
College--several, graduated BSU with Econ, (must have been Mrs. Mitchell, although I had to look up her name), worked for my grandpa in construction building bridges and things, must have had a few bricks dropped on my head, and kept at it, and as my friends say, I've never had a real job in my life as I've always worked for family, after four summers and 7 years my father took the mine and I got the shaft, started over and now run my own business (still working for family :) I travel from Seattle (where I met my wife) to Wyoming doing lots of intense and interesting projects which are hard to describe, and get me in trouble with my insurance company if I post some of them online. More importantly, I have a wonderful wife and three great kids 15, 8, and 6 who I try to spend as much time with as possible. I can't believe my oldest son has his drivers license (now he can go to work for family:) We live in God's country and thank him every day for the beauty we have and great family and great friends, if life wasn't so hectic, would love to spend more time with everyone, and you're always welcome to come knock on our door in Kalispell.
What do you miss most about high school?:
Being able to go out with friends at any time, just hanging out, Big Dad's/bigMoms.
From Ted:
Great Job Cheryl, was lots of fun to see everyone's bios.

What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
After graduation I packed my bags and headed out with Bud to Boise State to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. What followed was 4 years of a great time with many CDA friends, my wife Nicole, and a degree in accounting. After college we settled in Meridian where I obtained my CPA license and worked for a couple of regional accounting firms specializing in the health care field. We had our first son Nathan (who is now 14 and taller than I am) in 1993. After a few years of ridiculously long hours in public accounting I hired on with an Oregon based health care management firm to be their CFO in 1997 and we moved the family to Salem, Oregon. Since then, we added another boy (Alex in 1998) and 1 dog to the McArthur clan. As a family we spend a great deal of time shuffling between school / sports activities, getting to the coast as much as posible, and any event surrounding the Oregon Duck's.
What do you miss most about high school?:
The great friends and the close relationships that you find in High School when life is not so busy.
From Jason:

It has been great to read how everyone has been doing over the past 20 years!  Unfortunately we have a family obligation over the 4th weekend so I will not be able to make the reunion.  Great job on the planning Cheryl - have a great time everyone!

Mostly the great friends, and the lack of responsibility. It was such a care free time. I still keep in touch with many friends, especially Bud, Chris Schnieder, Dave Spellman, etc. P.S. Todd Schini is my Dentist - Ouch!

Who was your favorite teacher?:  I liked most of them for different reasons. Some for letting me eat in class, some for teaching me something. No single favorite.
What is your favorite high school memory?:  It would be in very poor taste to discuss that in this forum!
What have you been doing since June 6, 1988?:
Left school and pretty much never looked back. Went to Reed College and got a degree in Physics. Spent some time bicycle touring in Europe (four months of a year's leave from college). Worked hard through college in my parents business designing and building motion picture equipment. Graduated from Reed in 1993, and split at the end of the summer for the East Coast. It was time for a change of scene, and time to get away from the sprawl that has taken over our little town. I landed a gig within my first year in Vermont with Froggy Bottom Guitars, and I've been building guitars for a living ever since. Also playing a lot of music on guitar, fiddle, mandolin. Met my wife, Lava, in 1995. Two great kids born in 1997 and 1999. Still visit Idaho every couple of years. Enjoying being husband and dad, still getting to know myself, probably always will be.
What do you miss most about high school?:
There are people I miss, but nothing about high school that I would describe that way. High School was something to move through. I don't romanticize it.
From Andrew:
I won't be at the reunion, but I've been enjoying looking at this website and taking a trip down memory lane. It seems in retrospect that we all did what we could to make the best of it, each in our own way. I think back to Cd'A High, and the image of sardines in a can comes to mind. Nevertheless, I still remember some of it, and some of you. It'd be nice to be back in touch more.
